We condemn Lt. Governor Mark Robinson’s vicious attack on LGBTQ people in calling us “filth”. Mr. Robinson’s comments are not only deplorable, they are a dangerous and endanger lives. It is a blatant dereliction of duty for the Lt. Governor who has sworn an oath to “protect” North Carolinians and this action cannot be tolerated.

On Friday, October 8th, we submitted an open letter to Lt. Governor Mark Robinson requesting a meeting as he offered during his remarks at Asbury Baptist Church. Our hope is to have the Lt. Governor hear from those impacted most by his hateful rhetoric so that he will know why this must stop.
